Tess Horse Study No. 1
An equestrian study drawn in gold against a deep claret ground, Tess Horse Study No. 1 brings the quiet grandeur of an old drawing room into a distinctly decorative piece.
At its centre, a free-moving horse is rendered in fine golden lines — deliberately reminiscent of an archival sketch or an illustration discovered between the pages of an old equestrian volume. The restrained drawing sits against rich claret red, allowing the simplicity of the motif and the depth of the velvet to do the talking.
Made to order in Soft Velvet, the cushion has a short, smooth pile with a beautifully soft hand and subtle lustre that changes gently with the light. The design is digitally printed in high definition, preserving the character of the original artwork while giving the claret ground its rich, saturated appearance.
Finished with piped edges for a tailored silhouette, Tess Horse Study No. 1 works particularly well among collected textiles, florals, antique woods and patterned upholstery — but is equally striking on its own.
Available in four square sizes, from a small decorative 12” cushion to an oversized 24” statement piece. Choose a soft polyester fibre pad, a traditional feather pad for a fuller, relaxed appearance, or the cover alone.

Polyester Fibre — soft, plump and hypoallergenic; an easy-care option for everyday use.

CARE
Machine wash at 30°C. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Do not wring. Iron on a low setting if required.
