Blenheim Blue

Deep blue, burnished gold and unapologetically ornamental. Blenheim Blue takes its cues from grand old interiors, where pattern was never treated as an afterthought.

Its sweeping botanical forms unfold across a rich blue ground, creating a throw designed to bring colour, scale and a certain sense of theatre to a room. Draped over the arm of a sofa, layered at the end of a bed or left deliberately undone over a favourite chair, it is made to be noticed.

Crafted from 100% organic cotton poplin, Blenheim Blue has a smooth, breathable outer with a softly structured feel. A gently weighted centre layer gives the throw additional body and a beautiful drape without making it excessively heavy, while the double-sided construction allows the design to remain part of the composition however it falls. 

Each piece is handmade to order in the UK and individually printed using water-based inks, capturing the depth of the blue and the intricate details of the original Tess Wilde & Co. design. The organic cotton is designed to soften beautifully over time while retaining its durability.

Care: Wash at 30°C / 86°F. Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry. Do not wring. Iron on low heat.
